The last event of Dance Festival Croydon 2024 is an exploration and celebration of dance that is shared across cultures. Croydon based Subrang Arts and Jose Agudo Dance company will showcase contemporary kathak and flamenco.
It will feature solos by Shyam Nayan and Jose Agudo, performance by Subrang’s ensemble dancers and duet, Darpana, between Shyam and Jose, based on music Time Waves, composed by Mehboob Nadeem and Ramon Ruiz. The second half will feature Farruca, a solo by Jose, and an excerpt from Carmen. Carmen is choreographed by Jose Agudo and performed by dancers from Rambert School.
