Join in an exhilarating series of workshops, where you learn new moves, try out different instruments and learn new craft skills.
From 11am to 4pm the day will have a series of free dance workshops in Braithwaite Hall, music workshops in the Rewind Gallery and craft workshops in the Central library.

BollyBelly: Experience the vibrant fusion of Bollywood and Belly Dance with Georgia Cornwell. Get ready to shimmy and shake your whole body to upbeat music!
Bharatanatyam Fusion: Add a modern twist to the classical dance form Bharatanatyam with Chintu. Learn a semi-classical routine to a mashup of popular Tamil/Bollywood songs. Expect a vibrant, energetic, and fun workshop!
Bhangra Workshop: Dance to the infectious beats of Bhangra with Kavya! This lively workshop will teach you the basics of this traditional Punjabi folk dance with a modern flair. Perfect for all skill levels—come and feel the energy!

Music Workshops at the Rewind Gallery
The Rewind Gallery at the Museum of Croydon features Croydon’s rich musical heritage. As part of Dance Festival Croydon 24, it will also be nurturing stars for the future. Children aged 8 to 12 can try out different instruments with Croydon Music and Arts and discover their own musical talents. They can then come back on Sunday to join in the Dance Festival Croydon parade.

There are three craft workshops at the Central Library.
