Kiyanna & Kiya; Pulse; and Exodus

Aaron Baksh creates Pulse with Legacy Youth Group, a contemporary work that involves young people. Gathering a sense of appropriate balance between professional dancer and developing young dancers within a challenging process.

This work is a contemporary Dance piece exploring the concept of ‘Energy’ through movement.  Short poem we created based on energy of the work we are exploring.

Energy Flows….
Energy Connects us
Receive and give
Vulnerabilities.
Energy repeats, energy shifts….
Rhythm
Release
Rises and falls
Stillness….
Breath

Kiyanna & Kiya present an explosive duet within their style, blending hip-hop and commercial dance. Sharing their chemistry, passion and creativity. Connecting to the audience with this entertaining and rhythmic choreography.

Aaron presents his solo Exodus. Exodus explores a character who is attempting to flee from conflict. Along his journey, he is haunted by 2 individual young people that are ghosts. Trying to manipulate his vulnerabilities and memory to make him return.

Exodus was premiered as a trio at Croydon borough of culture 2023 at Fairfield Halls Rec Studio Theatre. Now Restaged exploring a different perception.
