About the company:
GRAND GESTURE is a trio of accomplished senior dancers who have come together in joyous celebration of life and taken the bold step to create a dance company to challenge the current perception of older dance performers. They have been described as a company of ger-anarchists, celebrating ageing and combatting ageism with playfully quirky performances. The company was formed in 2018 and has performed at The Place Theatre, the RAD Studio Theatre and at arts and dance festivals.
They collaboratively create dances by utilising the individual strengths of each performer and aim to create dances of a high standard, which are entertaining, amusing, innovative and thought-provoking.
