The film, through a simple act of affection, offers an inquiry of social judgements, acceptance of differences, and superficial assumptions of the “other”. It is series of dance films inspired by the incident in Russia where two boys were beaten up because they were holding hands.

Here the story of the dancers are mixed together to create a healthy discussion around superficial bias of gender, class, love, social relations, stereotypes about ageing, sexuality and identities.

Filming and choreography by Vinicius Salles in collaboration with Soom Company, in partnership with Age-Exhange. This film is part of a project that seeks to work with communities to discuss ideas around our contemporary world through dance.
